The makers of Malayalam upcoming film, Mr & Mrs Bachelor, have released its official trailer, a week ahead of its theatrical debut. The promo shows a hint at the plot as well as lead characters of the movie.
According to the trailer, Anaswara Rajan's character Stephy is the daughter of an MLA who runs away on her wedding day. Stephy is seen being offered a ride in his car by Jithu, a bachelor played by Indrajith Sukumaran who is probably in his 40s. Mr & Mrs Bachelor will probably concentrate on the fallout from this improbable journey. Jithu seems to be a middle-aged man who is desperately trying to find a spouse. Stephy appears to be enjoying her ride with Jithu in the meantime. The trailer for the new road movie teases some humorous sequences between Indrajith and Anaswara. Overall, it suggests a fun romantic comedy drama.
It was recently confirmed that the movie will hit the big screen on May 23. The film, which was revealed last year, stars Indrajith Sukumaran and Anaswara Rajan in lead roles. However, its theatrical debut was postponed several times for unknown reasons. Recently, there was a minor argument between Deepu Karunakaran, the film's director, and Anaswara. The latter alleged that the Pranaya Vilasam star had not been cooperating with the makers in the movie's promotions. But it was promptly resolved. Many have praised the actress for her subtle performances in films, such as Rekhachithram and Malayalee from India, which are available for streaming online.
In the movie, Dayyana Hameed, Rosin Jolly, Sohan Seenulal, Rahul Madhav, and Deepu Karunakaran all have supporting parts. Prakash Highline has bankrolled Mr & Mrs Bachelor under the Highline Pictures label. Arjun T Sathyan wrote the screenplay for this rom-com. The soundtrack and background music for the film were composed by P S Jayahari.
