Mr & Mrs Mahi song Agar Ho Tum – Janhvi Kapoor relives her Dhadak romance with Rajkummar Rao but their passion for cricket shines

Set in Rajasthan, Mr. & Mrs. Mahi’s new song Agar Ho Tum takes Janhvi Kapoor back to Dhadak days. There are two scenes that will promptly take you back to her romance with Ishaan Khatter in their debut film. However, it is Rajkummar Rao and Janhvi’s passion for cricket that shines in the recently released song. Of course, this is apart from Jubin Nautiyal's voice, crooning Agar Ho Tum beautifully.

The first scene in the song is Rajkummar meeting Janhvi in the middle of a monument in Rajasthan. This will transport you back to the magic in the Dhadak song. In fact, there’s another scene from Agar Tum Ho which takes you back to the moment, and the highlight is holi. In both the songs, the festival and colours played a major role in conveying the love between the leads.

The highlight of Agar Ho Tum, however, is seeing Janhvi and Rajkummar as cricket enthusiasts. They both get equally excited when their favourite player takes Team India closer to the win. It makes for the sweetest moments in the song. This time around, Janhvi’s passion for playing cricket is the focus, and Rajkummar ends up being the sweetest lover, supporting the very passion to the T. Both of them express emotions with their eyes and it works really well in the song.

About Mr. & Mrs. Mahi

Gunjan Saxena director Sharan Sharma helmed the film. In the movie, Rajkummar and Janhvi are a married couple who share a passion for cricket. She plays the role of a doctor who enjoys watching as well as playing cricket, while Rajkummar is an inspiring cricketer who wants to make a name for himself in the sport.

The film is inspired by Captain Cool Dhoni. Janhvi had recently said that she wants the nation’s pride and his wife Sakshi Dhoni to watch the movie but Dhoni is too busy with other commitments and thus, they haven’t been able to reach out to him so far.
