Suryakantham, Bhaag Saale fame director Pranith Bramandapally turns a producer with the series
ETV Win, the popular OTT platform owned by the Eenadu group, is gearing up for the release of a web show in the next week. After releasing films like Pappan, Annapurna Photo Studio, Parthudu and the web series Dil Se, their upcoming project is a feel-good entertainer titled Mr Nagabhushanam. Ram Nitin, who shot to fame with MAD, Hello World, plays the lead alongside Mounika Reddy in the show.
The web series is written and directed by Dileep Saraswathi. The project marks the production debut of Pranith Bramandapally, the budding filmmaker who shot web shows Muddapappu Avakai, Nanna Koochi and films including Bhaag Saale and Suryakantham. His banner is named Kurukshetra Productions. The filmmaker shared his happiness about the release of the show over a social media post.
“Experience a roller coaster love story stuck between passion, family, and marriage. Stream into ETVWin for a fun-filled experience on October 13th,” the streamer wrote, while announcing the show earlier this week. The show, as the post suggests, lands on ETV Win next Friday. Harshavardhan, Bindu Chandramouli, Chinni Krishna, Shivani Mahi, Prem Sagar and Sreemani too essay important roles.

The first look of the show has a bride and a bridegroom smiling as they smoke a cigarette on their wedding day. Will it be an unconventional wedding comedy? We’ll know more soon. Mr Nagabhushanam has two cinematographers - Daniel Viswas and Satish Reddy Masam. PR scores the music and Vara is the editor. Ravi Shankar and Sai Maneendhar Reddy are the co-director and the sound designer.
With Pranith Bramandapally’s understanding of the digital medium and audience tastes besides the collaboration of two exciting talents like Ram Nitin and Mounika Reddy, there’s every reason to be curious about Mr Nagabhushanam. ETV Win’s other recent releases were Police Story, Asalu, U and I, Righto Lefto and Match Fixing. The trailer and the other promos will be launched in the coming days.
