Sohel, who shot to fame with his stint in Bigg Boss Telugu, is on a film-signing spree, associating with a lot of projects as a male lead, the latest being Organic Mama Hybrid Alludu, being directed by SV Krishna Reddy. Meanwhile one of his films, Mr Pregnant is awaiting release soon. Uma Maheshwara Ugra Roopasya fame Roopa Koduvayur is cast as the female lead in the film directed by Srinivas Vinjanampati and produced by Appi Reddy.

On the occasion of Mother's Day today, the team of Mr. Pregnant has launched a special glimpse from the film that helps viewers understand its wacky premise. Sohel and veteran actress Suhasini Maniratnam are seen in the glimpse. The video starts with the latter uttering a line, 'Why has a woman always been given a prominent place in the society across centuries?' And later we see Sohel speaking of a mother's importance, throwing light on the various pains she takes to deliver a baby in nine months with a smile on her face.

The glimpse is timed well for Mother's Day and Mr Pregnant looks like an uncoventional outing with a few surprises in store. Mr Pregnant has wrapped it shoot and the makers added that the post-production formalities are progressing at a brisk pace. More promotional material around the film will be out in the coming days, say the producers, who call Mr Pregnant, a drama that discusses a relevant social issue. 

Cinematographed by Nizar Shafi, Mr Pregnant has music by Shravan Bharadwaj. While Prawin Pudi is the editor, well known technician Gandhi Nadikudikar heads the art direction team. Aswini and Gangadhar are the stylists of the film. Suhasini Manirathnam, Raja Ravindra, Brahmaji, Ali, Harsha, Abhishek Reddy Bobbala and Swapnika play supporting roles in the drama.
