Mrunal Thakur heads to Russia for Dulquer Salmaan starrer Lieutenant Ram's international schedule

Mrunal Thakur is poised to make her Telugu debut opposite Dulquer Salmaan in Lieutenant Ram. The anticipated film will be released in Malayalam, Tamil, and Telugu languages and is a trilingual period love story. The film's international schedule is set to be shot in Russia, and Mrunal has already arrived at the location.

According to a reliable source, Mrunal has already arrived in Russia and has begun filming. It's a five-to-six-day schedule, and she'll be shooting in St. Petersburg, Russia. 

According to the source, Dulquer and Mrunal have fantastic on-screen chemistry that shines through on camera. Mrunal's Telugu debut does not feel like it because she has brilliantly adapted to the unit's working style and shooting patterns. The audience will undoubtedly enjoy watching her in this one-of-a-kind story.

The film is directed by Hanu Raghavapudi and marks the second outing of Dulquer after Mahanati. This is the first time the Malayalam heartthrob and Mrunal have been together on the big screen.

Her first look was unveiled during her birthday last year, which left an impressive mark on everyone.

Mrunal will also be seen in the much-anticipated sports drama Jersey, opposite Shahid Kapoor. The film was scheduled to be released earlier on December 31, 2021. However, due to the coronavirus pandemic, the film was postponed. Jersey is set to hit the big screens on April 14, 2022, much to the excitement of the fans. On the big screen, Jersey will clash with the Yash starrer KGF: Chapter 2.

She is also working on Aankh Micholi opposite Abhimanyu Dassani, directed by Umesh Shukla, and Pippa, featuring Ishaan Khatter in the lead role, directed by Raja Menon.
