The intense thriller Muddy is all about mud racing. The movie also includes elements of revenge, action, adventure, family and humor in it.

What is special about the movie?

A movie based on a 4X4 mud race was made for the first time in India. The director has already revealed that it took him five years to do the research and another year more to select the location, before going on floors. 

The principal actors were trained in mud racing for two years before the shoot and also national-level racers were a part of the team. The movie has been presented with top notch technical aspects to create a Hollywood experience, according to the makers. The multilingual film was released in 6 languages including Malayalam, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Hindi and English, theatrically on December 10, 2021.

Who are in the cast and crew?

Director Pragabhal Das had earlier told Onmanorama about his interesting journey regarding the casting. It was a hurdle when he approached many lead actors, to shoot mud races without dupes. When he was almost about to drop the project, his brothers came on board, which turned out very well later. Thus the movie has Yuvan Krishna, and Ridhaan Krishna playing prominent roles, alongside Anusha Suresh, Amit Sivadas Nair, Hareesh Peradi, I M Vijayan and Renji Panicker. KGF fame Ravi Basur is behind the music while Bollywood cameraman K G Rathish is the DOP. The movie is made under the banner of PK7 Creations and is produced by Prem Krishnadas.
