Mukhyamantri: When and where to watch the upcoming docu-series

A docu-series named Mukhyamantri is all set to release on OTT soon. The series will start streaming on Hoichoi from February 25. Directed by Indranil Roychowdhury, this series will document the lives of various Chief Ministers of Bengal, including Mamata Banerjee.

Mukhyamantri will release on the top Bengali streaming platform, Hoichoi. It will be available for streaming from February 25.

Who all will be covered in the docu-series?

Every Chief Minister of Bengal ever will be covered in the documentary series. Mamata Banerjee, who is the current CM of the state, will also be seen in the project.

Which CM will be a part of the series?

Prafulla Chandra Ghosh (1947-1948, 1967-1968), Bidhan Chandra Roy (1948-1962), Prafulla Chandra Sen (1962-1967), Ajoy Kumar Mukherjee (1967, 1969-1970, 1971), Siddhartha Shankar Ray (1972-1977), Jyoti Basu (1977-2000), Buddhadeb Bhattacharya (2000-2011) and of course, Mamata Banerjee (2011 till date)’s life will be documented in the series. Thus, all the CMs of Bengal till date will be covered in the documentary.

Hoichoi has delved into a new sphere with the docu-series. Mukhyamantri is the first time when Hoichoi releases a docu-series.

Since Hoichoi (a part of SVF) is creating an original docu-series, they have also backed Mukhyamantri. Apart from them, ABP Studios has come on board to bankroll the project.
