Exclusive! Munawar Faruqui on how life changed post his wedding revelation on Lock Upp: Need to move on

A big revelation was made on Lock Upp. It was revealed that the winner of Kangana Ranaut’s show Munawar Faruqui is actually married and has a kid too. The news shocked everyone, since they believed Munawar was having a girlfriend, which was also the case.

Munawar had hinted about his love life on Lock Upp just once – by writing Bubby on his coffee cup and flashing it to the cameras in the jail. However, things changed drastically for him after his wedding revelation on the very same show.

Munawar’s co-kaidis started treating him differently. Even Anjali Arora, who fell for him for a brief period, maintained her distance from the comedian and often had arguments with him post the revelation.

Despite it all, Munawar ki janta and Munawar ke warriors (what Munawar fans call themselves), showered love upon him. When Munawar got a bottle when the Grand Finale of the show was near, he held it close. His fans inspected and got to know that it belongs to Munawar’s baby boy and supported the gesture completely.

We asked Munawar if life has changed for him since the big revelation. He shared, “Yes, everything in life is good and you need to move on from where you were once. Whatever is happening, it is good.”

For the uninitiated, Munawar made his relationship with social media influencer Nazila official after winning the Lock Upp trophy. He has recently revealed that he was dating her only six months before going on the show but she accepted him despite the MunJali trend for Munawar and Anjali.

Currently, Munawar has cleared who his ladylove is and the two are frequenting dinner and movie dates. They are, however, taking their own sweet time to come out in the open about their future plans. We had asked Munawar about the same and he had revealed that they would want to figure out things before making it public.
