Munna Bhai 3: No reunion for Arshad Warsi and Sanjay Dutt, here's why

One of the most well-known and iconic Bollywood films is Munna Bhai MBBS, starring Sanjay Dutt and Arshad Warsi. Although Munna Bhai 3 has been anticipated by fans since a very long time, it might not happen. 

In a recent interview, Arshad Warsi made a major statement that may sadden the fans. The actor revealed that the highly anticipated movie might not be made in a recent interview. "Munna Bhai may not happen. This is the weirdest thing. We have a director who wants to make it, a producer who wants to produce it, an audience who wants to see it, actors who want to act in it, and still, it is not happening", Arshad told India Today. 

He continued by saying that the sequel's perfect script has not yet been written by filmmaker Rajkumar Hirani. He said, “The thing is, Raju is insanely perfectionist. He has 3 scripts which are brilliant but there are some glitches. So, till the time he is not 100-200 per cent sure of the script, he won’t start it. When you ask him, he will always say yes, never says no. He will say ‘main kar raha ho.. ek baar script fix ho jaaye na, mujhe yeh pasand nahi woh pasand nahi’. Once he crosses that stage, he will start.”

Sanjay Dutt and Arshad were the main characters in Munna Bhai, which was released in 2003. Lage Raho Munna Bhai followed it in 2006. There have been several rumours that a third movie is in the works following the success of the two previous releases. But unfortunately, it appears that the movie is no longer in production.
