Mura OTT release date: When and where to watch Suraj Venjaramoodu’s action thriller

Muhammad Mustafa's Mura, which released in theatres in November 2024, is all set to make its OTT debut. The film, which stars  Hridhu Haroon, Suraj Venjaramoodu, and Mala Parvathy in pivotal roles, will be available for streaming on Amazon Prime Video from December 20, 2024.

Mura, an action thriller, impressed audiences with its plot and performances, and completed a 50-day run at the theatres, despite having several newcomers among its cast.  Now, the film is set for its digital premiere on Amazon Prime Video from Christmas. The Malayalam film will be available in four languages, including Tamil, Telugu and Hindi, with English subtitles on the platform.

Apart from the lead cast of Hridhu Haroon, Suraj Venjaramoodu, and Mala Parvathy, the film also featured several new faces including Jobin Das, Anujit Kannan, Yedu Krishna, and Vigneshwar Suresh. Kani Kusruthi, who attained global fame after her performance in Cannes-winner All We Imagine as Light, is also part of the cast along with  Kannan Nair, Krish Hassan, and Sibi Joseph. 

Hridhu Haroon made his Malayalam film debut with Mura and the young actor’s portrayal of the role Ananthu won praise from both critics and audiences, alike.

Set in the Kerala capital city of Thiruvananthapuram, the film revolves around four jobless youths whose lives take a violent turn after they get involved in a 'high-risk task' at the behest of Ani (Suraj Venjaramoodu).

The movie is directed by Muhammad Mustafa, who is best known for Anna Ben-starrer Kappela.

The film is written by Suresh Babu. Fazil Nasser cranked the camera, while Chaman Chacko handled Editing, and Christy Joby served as music director.

Meanwhile, Suraj Venjaramoodu’s Extra Decent arrives in cinemas on December 20, 2024. The film also features Grace Antony, and Shyam Mohan in key roles along with Sudheer Karamanna and Vinaya Prasad
