In an exciting announcement by Netflix, Murder Mubarak will be premiering on the streaming platform beginning March 15, 2024. The film aims to introduce a novel approach to the mystery genre through its combination of tension, comedy, and romance. Homi Adajania is in charge of directing Maddock Films' adaptation of Anuja Chauhan's Club You to Death for the screen.

Unraveling the mystery at Delhi Turf Club

On the eve of the club elections at the upscale Delhi Turf Club, a handsome personal trainer is found dead from asphyxiation under an overloaded barbell. At first, everyone thought it was an accident. One member of the DTC—all pickled-in-privilege Dilliwallahs—is obviously a cold-blooded killer, though, and this becomes apparent very quickly. Appointing seasoned ACP Bhavani Singh to investigate, the case has the city abuzz with speculation and conspiracy theories.

With the help of his capable deputy, Akash 'Kashi' Dogra, a stunning human rights activist, and Bambi Todi, a rich girl out and about in town, ACP Bhavani embarks on a mission to solve a crime that, although seemingly straightforward, turns out to have roots as extensive and deep-seated as the famed Neem trees in New Delhi... Set in the vibrant heart of Lutyen's Delhi, Anuja Chauhan's latest book is a brutally fantastic romance.

A compelling blend of tension, comedy, and romance

The outstanding cast portrays a wide variety of suspects as lies and secrets are brought to light, shifting the narrative's focus. The likes of Sara Ali Khan, Vijay Varma, Dimple Kapadia, Karisma Kapoor, Sanjay Kapoor, Tisca Chopra, and Suhail Nayyar are among the star cast who are able to deftly conceal the hidden agendas of their characters. Pankaj Tripathi, who plays a non-traditional police officer, is at the forefront of the action. In his role as an outsider, he enters their world, only to discover that there is a great deal more going on than initially appears.
