What's the plot of Murderer?

In a calm and eerily quite rural village, a man, named Joo-hyeop, lived a secret life. People around him do not know that once he was a serial killer, now carefully concealing his dark past. He wanted to appear as an ordinary person, especially for his son, who means the world to him.

One day, Joo-hyeop's son befriends a girl of his age. Little did Joo-hyeop know, this girl also holds a dangerous secret that she is the only one who knows the truth about his identity as a killer in that area.

As their friendship grows, Joo-hyeop becomes increasingly worried. The girl's knowledge is a threat to the peaceful life he has built for his son. In a desperate attempt to protect themselves, Joo-hyeop makes a terrible decision of killing the girl to ensure his secret remains buried forever.
