Music composer Devi Sri Prasad watches Kamal Haasan's Vikram; pens a note

Music composer Devi Sri Prasad, who recently returned from the US, finally managed to watch Kamal Haasan's recent outing Vikram, and stated that he couldn't resist from congratulating the Ulaganayagan personally and went on to pen a note, which he shared on his social media page. The film, directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj, also stars Vijay Sethupathi and Fahadh Faasil and has a special appearance by Suriya. 

Taking to his social media page, Devi Sri Prasad wrote, "Got bak frm USA & finally watched #VIKRAM 😍 Cud not resist myself frm personally Congratulating d LEGEND ULAGANAYAGAN @ikamalhaasan sir 4 d much deserved Blockbuster🙏🏻Congrats 2 @Dir_Lokesh @Suriya_offl @VijaySethuOffl #FahadFaazil @anirudhofficial (sic)."

His note read, "Here’s my Special Note❤️Vikram One a lion, always a lion..So rightly said..Dear Kamal sir...with this movie, u did not just score a blockbuster, but U also proved again that passion is unbeatable! Congrats on the much deserved GIGANTIC SUCCESS...And Than You for inspiring us yet again sir.

Vikram has emerged as one of the biggest grossers among Tamil films and the collections surpassed that of SS Rajamouli's Bahubali 2: The Conclusion and is inching towards making Rs 400 crore at the box office.

Music for the film is by Anirudh Ravichander and the songs in the film have gone on to become huge hits, with Pathala Pathala, sung by Kamal Haasan himself becoming one of the most watched songs on YouTube in 24 hours. Cinematography is by Girish Gangadharan and editing is by Philomin Raj. The team recently had a grand success meet in Chennai, celebrating the great run of the film for which Kamal Haasan, Lokesh Kanagaraj, Anirudh Ravichander and Udhayanidhi Stalin were present.

In the meantime, Devi Sri Prasad, who is riding on the success of Pushpa, has been roped in to compose music for the Varun Dhawan-starrer Bawaal.
