The Family man

A Hindi spy thriller streaming series that has aired two seasons stars Manoj Bajpayee alongside Priya Mani, Samantha, and Sharad Kelkar in supporting roles. The show received eleven nominations for Filmfare OTT Awards and won five awards for various categories. The plot follows Srikant Tiwari, a middle-class man who secretly works as an Intelligence officer balancing family responsibilities and his work at a secret special cell at National Investigation Agency. A must-watch series that gained not only popularity but also controversy.

A Hindi drama web series that features Jameel Khan, Geetanjali Kulkarni, Vaibhav Raj Gupta, and Harsh Mayar in main roles. They are a lower-middle-class family that deals with day-to-day chores while residing in bustling by-lanes. This light-hearted show is a good pick.

Kota factory

A ten-episode Hindi web series that stars Mayur More as Vaibhav Pandey in the lead role. The plot is set in Kota, Rajasthan, and follows the life story of an IIT aspiring teenager Vaibhav who moves to Kota to crack JEE exam. The first-ever ‘Black and White’ series, it depicts the hardships encountered by IIT-JEE aspirants.

Grahan is a crime drama web series based on the book Chaurasi by Satya Vyas. The series stars Pawan Malhotra, Zoya Hussain and Wamiqa Gabbi in lead roles. The story follows SP Amrita Singh who discovers a harsh truth of her father Rishi Ranjan, being a prime suspect in 1984’s anti-Sikh rights in Jharkhand. Through her investigations surfaces trust, love and sacrifice. The show has beautifully showcased the old-romance of Rishi and his love interest Manu in the 80s.

A comeback of ravishing actor Raveena in a serious cop role is a must-watch.

The story set in Jalandhar follows a story of a retired police constable who stands against all odds to save his family which gets entangled in a mysterious crime. The plot wonderfully depicts the unity and support of a family with a well-crafted story and an ensemble that has done justice with riveting performances.

An Indian sports documentary series of seven episodes is based on the success story of the duo tennis legends Leander Paes and Mahesh Bhupathi. The show focuses on their journey through childhood friendship to being famed tennis players. The series depicts the high and lows of their careers, from Grand Slam wins to their eventual fallout. The series also focuses on incidents that grew them apart which resulted in them never teaming up in any tournament.

A second installment action thriller web series of the Special Ops franchise starring Kay Kay Menon in the titular role of Himmat Singh. Set in the 2000s, the plot follows the narration of Himmat Singh, an idealistic legendary RAW officer and his duties towards safeguarding the nation’s secret information. The show takes you through the clustered lanes of old Delhi and includes the aftermath of the Indian Parliament attack in 2001.

House of Secrets: The Burari Deaths

A crime documentary consisting of three episodes that refers to the horrendous deaths of eleven family members of the Chundawat family from Burari, Delhi in 2018. This docu-series examines the unfortunate and mysterious deaths, focusing on whether the deaths were suicides, murders, or something unknown. Though a disturbing true story, the series is captivating and includes interviews of the relevant people associated with the Chundawat family.
