Must-Watch OTT Releases: Kathal to Yeh Meri Family 2 - Top movies and Shows to binge watch this weekend

The second half of May is here and there are a variety of new shows and films coming to the various OTT platforms. This wee, you have more than enough content to get you through the weekend with a variety of new films and television shows including Kathal, Ant-Man and The Wasp: Quantumania, Yeh Meri Family Season 2 and others that are arriving to various OTT platforms this week.

Kathal:

A fun comedy helmed by Oscar winner Guneet Monga and starring Sanya Malhotra, Rajpal Yadav, and Anant Joshi is titled Kathal: A Jackfruit Mystery. Two jackfruits go missing and the task of looking into the 'crime' has been given to Sanya's character. Rajpal Yadav, who plays a nosy journalist, scales a crime scene wall only to be dealt with by Sanya Malhotra's cop in an odd fashion. Neha Saraf, Anantvijay Joshi, and Vijay Raaz are also featured in the movie.

Kacchey Limbu:

Shubham Yogi's family drama Kacchey Limbu has Ayush Mehra, Rajat Barmecha, and Rajat Barmecha as the main characters. The film follows two cricket-playing siblings as they attempt to balance taking care of their family and pursuing their ambitions.

Modern Love Chennai:

The 'Modern Love Franchise' has three Indian adaptations, the latest of which being Modern Love Chennai. It is a collection of six stories that gives a glimpse into the people of Chennai, its distinctive landscapes, and its wide range of residents. It has an ensemble cast comprised Sanjula Sarathi, Vasudevan Murali, Vasundhara, Ritu Varma, Srikrishna Dayal, Chu Khoy Sheng, Ashok Selvan, T. J. Bhanu, Aniiruth Kanakarajan, Kishore, Ramya Nambessan, Vijayalakshmi, Sri Gouri Priya, Samyuktha Vishwanathan, Pawan Alex, Wamiqa and PB.

Inspector Avinash:

The Inspector Avinash narrative follows Inspector Avinash from 1997 as he struggles to overcome every obstacle in order to get to the weapon's end of the barrel. This show contrasts Mexico to Uttar Pradesh while concentrating on the crimes committed there. The show also stars Urvashi Rautela and Shalin Bhanot.

Yeh Meri Family 2:

This week, the popular sitcom Yeh Meri Family's second season will be available to stream. It features a story set in the 1990s. The show is based on Ritika, the older daughter of the Awasthi family, a teenager, balances school, family, friendship, dreams desires, and other challenges of growing up. This one is a perfect watch with your family. 

Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania:

Paul Rudd's Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania is finally on OTT after dominating the movie office. To make up for the five years he lost during the glitch in "Avengers: Endgame," Jonathan Majors' Kang the Conqueror makes a deal with Scott Lang, represented by actor Paul Rudd.
