Muthayya: Natural Star Nani launches teaser of K Sudhakar Reddy starrer movie

The teaser of the much-awaited slice-of-life Telugu film, Muthayya was launched today by none other than the Natural Star Nani. Starring K Sudhakar Reddy in the lead, the film also stars Arun Raj, Mounika Bomma, Purna Chandra, T Sai Leela, Jayavardhan Sagar, and Kiran Kumar in important roles. The film, written and directed by Bhaskhar Maurya, revolves around a 70-year-old man, who dreams of acting in movies before he dies. 

Nani seems to be impressed with the film. Sharing the link to the teaser, the actor tweeted that he would want to be Muthayya when he is 70. "I would have been #Muthayya in my 70’s if AshtaChamma didn’t happen at my 24 😄Such a heartwarming Teaser :) Good luck and congrats," he wrote.

The film is presented by Kedar Selgamsetty and Vamsi Karumanchi under the banner of Hylife Entertainments. It is produced by Vrinda Prasad under the Fictionary Entertainment banner. The camera work for the film is done by the popular cinematographer, Divakar Mani, who is also the co-producer of the film. The music is by Karthik Rodriguez.

The makers expressed their happiness about Nani launching the teaser of their film. Debutant director Bhaskhar Maurya said that he is grateful to Nani for releasing the teaser. He further said in his statement that his film Muthayya is a tribute to countless people who are dreamers and hope to achieve something big in their lives. He also talked about the inspiration for the film. "I was inspired by the lives of several people near my hometown, which resulted in me writing and directing this feature film. I thank the whole team of Muthayya for supporting me to bring this story alive, and I hope it resonates with the viewers as well.”

Vamsi Karumanchi, one of the presenters of the film said in his statement, "We are delighted that Natural Star Nani has launched the teaser of our film. Hylife Entertainments team thanks him wholeheartedly for supporting Muthayya. It’s a heartwarming film which will leave a great impression on the viewers.”

The producer Vrinda Prasad too said that the team is thrilled to have Nani launch the teaser. Hoping that the film will resonate with every dreamer, Vrinda said that the team is proud of the film and happy that it has been shortlisted at the UK Asian Film Festival. Vrinda thanked the entire team including the presenters for the support. 

Earlier, the first poster of the film was released by Kajal Aggarwal, which create a huge buzz on social media. Several celebrities and dignitaries including Dr Andrew Fleming, British Deputy High Commissioner to AP & Telangana, also congratulated Muthayya’s team on the occasion of the teaser launch and getting selected for screening at UK Asian Film Festival.

Muthayya is the only Telugu film, which is competing at the film festival this year. It will have its world premiere at Rich Mix, London on May 9.
