The trailer of the MX player series dropped on the YouTube handle of the streaming platform.
Big dreams come at a big price and how much of it can be bargained and at what cost? That is a question Ajay and his wife encounter in their desire for success and dreams. At the beginning, a junior lawyer named Ajay Purohit, played by Rohit Bose Roy, tells his wife, “My love for you will always be the same.”
Ajay is elated to be summoned to the ‘upper floor,’ which is the boardroom of the partners of the legal firm where he works, for this means that things are looking up in his career. “Mr Shekhawat called me himself, the top cop!” Ronit breaks it to his wife. But there’s a big reveal looming large, which far exceeds the moral core and principles of the couple.
The in-love couple who have arrived from their small towns into the city of dreams, is faced with one scruple after another. Ajay is hell-bent on achieving success and when it comes down to protecting his love while his ambition comes in the way, what would he choose is what translates into the crux of the series.
In a statement given to daijiworld.com, Krishna said that she has always been ‘fascinated’ by love as an emotion and the OTT platform provides her the scope to experiment without any limitations. “Sanak is a love story that is made with heart, told from the heart and has a lot of heart,” she said.
Raaz director Vikram Bhatt said that the series has many nuances and is about 'dreams, desires, destiny' and so much more.
Sanak- Ek Junoon will premiere on MX Player on October 16. More details on the project are awaited.
