Sima Taparia CONFIRMS that she is not a part of Salman Khan's Bigg Boss OTT 2 | Exclusive

The buzz for ‘Bigg Boss OTT 2’, the second season of the reality show on OTT, has already begun. And many names are already being tossed around in the air. Some of the names being considered as housemates of ‘Bigg Boss OTT 2’ are reportedly Anjali Arora, Awez Darbar, Mahesh Poojary (a creative producer), Pooja Gor, Jiya Shankar, Poonam Pandey, Rajeev Sen, and rapper-singer Yo Yo Honey Singh, to name a few. Of course, these are all largely guesses, since the names of confirmed participants will only be revealed on the day the show begins.

Online portal Pinkvilla reported recently that Sima Taparia, who became an overnight celebrity, courtesy of her Netflix show ‘Indian Matchmaking’, is likely to be one of the participants in ‘Bigg Boss OTT 2’. OTTplay decided to check if there was any truth behind this or not and reached out to Sima to ask her directly if she indeed was one of the ‘confirmed’ participants of ‘Bigg Boss OTT 2’.

When we asked Sima about this, all she told OTTplay was, "I was on ‘Bigg Boss’ a couple of seasons ago, but as a guest". When we prodded her a little further, she added, "I am not participating in 'Bigg Boss OTT 2' because of my other commitments". 

It is interesting to note that Sima Taparia was in the news recently for her music video, ‘Shadi Ki Tayaree Hai’. Sima has sung the song along with her husband, Anup Taparia.
