My Lady Jane: Plot and reimagining history

My Lady Jane, based on the best-selling novel, offers a radical reimagining of the English royal family's history by cutting out the killing of Lady Jane Grey, the tuberculosis deaths of King Henry VIII's son Edward, and the scoundrel husband, Guildford. Her unexpected coronation shocks her, and she soon becomes the target of evildoers who want her head as well as the crown. My Lady Jane is an epic love story with fantastic adventures.

Anna Chancellor portrays Lady Frances Grey, Jane's mother, and Rob Brydon portrays Lord Dudley, the father of Guildford. Dominic Cooper plays Lord Seymour. James Broadbent portrays Jane's uncle, the Duke of Leicester.

Isabella Brownson and Robyn Betteridge portray Jane's sisters, while Henry Ashton portrays Stan, Guildford's brother. Abbie Hern plays Princess Bess, and Kate O'Flynn plays Princess Mary, the sister of the King. Among the other cast members are Michael Workeye, Joe Klocek, and Máiréad Tyers.
