My Name is Shruthi: Reppe Vese Loga, the first single from Hansika Motwani's thriller is here

Actress Hansika Motwani is returning to Telugu cinema after a three year sabbatical with My Name is Shruthi, a thriller surrounding the organ trade mafia. The film revolves around a woman who strives to teach the wrongdoers a lesson, put an end to the menace and is written, directed by Srinivas Ohmkar. Ramya Prabhakar is producing the thriller under Vaishnavi Arts. After launching the teaser recently, the makers have unveiled the first single from the film titled Reppe Vese Loga. Mark K Robin is the music director of My Name is Shruthi.

Reppe Vese Loga is sung by Harika Narayan, the emerging female singer who has gained credibility with several hits to her credit including Laahe Laahe, Kodthe, Etthara Jenda, to name a few. Krishna Kanth has penned the lyrics. The number starts with the lines, 'Reppe Vese Logaa..Marindemo Naa Raatha..Thappe Chese Laaga..Muppe Vacche Naa Venta' elaborating on the plight of a girl who has landed in some serious trouble and whose life has changed beyond repair. 

Despite the difficult situation the girl is stuck amidst, the lyrics emphasise that she is confident about accomplishing her aim come what may and showcases her inner strength. The mysterious, intense vibe of the composition complements the lyrics quite well and Reppe Vese Loga makes for an interesting hearing. Hansika, during the song launch, expressed her happiness in being part of an intense story like My Name is Shruthi and is confident that the various twists and turns in the story will appeal to audiences. Reppe Vese Loga will be the song that introduces the titular character to audiences in the film.

The director and producer will be announcing the release date shortly. Prema, Murali Sharma, Pooja Ramachandran, Raja Ravindra, Praveen and Adukulam Naren form the supporting cast of the film. Chota K Prasad is the editor while Kishore Boyadapu is the cinematographer.
