MY3 on OTT: Hansika, Shanthnu and Santhanam to team up for a robotic love story

Director Rajesh M is all set for his upcoming project, MY3, which is billed as a robotic love story. The series stars Hansika, Shanthnu Bhagyaraj and Santhanam in the lead and is all set to stream on Disney + Hotstar. The rest of the star cast includes Janani, Mugen Rao, Abishek and Sakthi Raj as part of the star cast.

 The makers, today, dropped a first-look poster from the series, in which Shanthnu is seen as a scientist and Hansika as a robot. While one half of Hansika is seen with a robotic arm and leg, the other side looks like a human being. Shanthnu is seen adjusting the screws of the robotic arm. The poster also features Santhanam, however, there's not much clarity on what his role could be.

While music for the project is by Ganesan, cinematography is by Karthik Muthukumar and editing is by Ashish. The series also marks Hansika's foray into web series and is all set to release in Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam, Hindi, Bengali, Marathi and Hindi.

Director Rajesh made his OTT debut with the episode Mirrage in the anthology Victim, which dropped on Sony LIV last year. While MY3 marks his sophomore project on OTT, it is his debut in web series. This is also the first time that Shanthnu and Hansika are teaming up for a project.

Hansika is gearing up for the release of the sci-fi comedy entertainer Partner, which is all set to hit screens on August 25. The film, which is helmed by debutant Manoj Dhamodaran, stars Aadhi and Yogi Babu. Going by the film's trailer, it looks like Aadhi and Yogi Babu steal a scientific invention, but when Yogi Babu accidentally gets injected with a special liquid, he turns into a beautiful woman (Hansika). The plot revolves around whether Yogi Babu will be able to get his body back?
