Filmmaker Mysskin, known for his unconventional storytelling, has hinted at his plans to enter the pan-Indian cinema arena with a star-studded cast. In a recent interview, Mysskin shed light on why he has not collaborated with big stars like Thalapathy Vijay and Ajith in his films so far.

One of the reasons behind his approach, as Mysskin explained, was the need to cater to the expectations of the stars' fan bases. He stated, "First, we need to make their fans happy. Such films have to be more heroic and adventurous. There should be a lot of scope for acting, and it should bring something new to the table. That's why I'm waiting."

However, Mysskin expressed his intention to work with Vijay in the future, assuring that the collaboration would not only satisfy the actor and his fans but also align with his own artistic vision. He emphasised the significance of crafting a film that would propel Vijay to the next level of his career. Mysskin affirmed, "I can only pitch a film considering all these requirements."

While Mysskin acknowledged that he could easily secure an appointment to narrate a script to Vijay, he revealed his patient approach. He plans to wait until he has a project that genuinely fulfils his creative aspirations while simultaneously meeting the expectations of the star and his followers. Mysskin promised, "Very soon I will do a very, very interesting film with Vijay. It will be a pan-Indian film. But, I'm not in a hurry."

He expressed his willingness to patiently wait for a couple of years in order to find the perfect project to collaborate with Vijay.

Interestingly, Mysskin has already collaborated with Vijay in the upcoming movie Leo , in which he portrays one of the antagonistic roles. The film, written and directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj, is one of the most awaited movies this year.

Leo will be Vijay's first pan-India release and is expected to be part of the cinemaic universe that Lokesh is building. The film's he ensemble supporting cast includes Trisha, Sanjay Dutt, Arjun, Priya Anand, Gautham Vasudev Menon, Mansoor Ali Khan, Sandy Master and Mathew Thomas among others.

Leo is due in cinemas in October.
