In the interview, Akashdeep shared that he is quite excited to become a part of Naagin’s franchise as he is set to play a role in the seventh installment, which features Priyanka Chahar Choudhary in the titular role of a shape-shifting serpent. "So Naagin after so many years, if you ask me, I can only say that because the timing felt right. I wasn't chasing a comeback, but I can say I was waiting for an alignment. When Ektaa spoke, it felt instinctive rather than strategic," Saigal told Zoom.
When asked about his character and details, Akashdeep Saigal revealed that he cannot spill much, but his character is expected to be intense and layered. “Naagin isn't just fantasy. There is emotion, power, mythology, which I have always connected with," he added. The actor further reiterated that his bond with Ekta Kapoor is quite special, as it is aligned and he has immense trust in the seasoned producer.
