The much-awaited second single from Dhanush's upcoming film Naane Varuven was released this morning. The single, titled Rendu Raaja, is sung by Dhanush himself, and is a fiery mass number where he talks about two kings in a forest, akin to his dual characters in the film. With some heavy-duty beats by music director Yuvan Shankar Raja, the song is indeed a goosebump-inducing number that will have everyone sit up and take notice.

Dhanush shared the song on his social media handle this morning and since then it has been doing the rounds on the internet. It looks like after the release of the single, fans might be delighted with the comeback of the magical trio- the film's director Selvaraghavan, Yuvan Shankar Raja and Dhanush.

It was not long ago that the first single and the teaser from the film was released. The teaser gives a glimpse of the two characters, one a family man and the other borderlining on a psychopath. The latter is seen with an axe, bow and arrow roaming around a dense forest like there's no tomorrow.

Dhanush and director Selvaraghavan, too, are teaming up after a decade with their last collaboration being Mayakkam Enna. The duo have worked in films like Thulluvadho Ilamai and Pudhupettai as well. This will be Selvaraghavan's third film as an actor, after his appearance in Nelson Dilipkumar's Beast and Arun Matheswaran's Saani Kayidham. Elli Avr Ram will mark her debut with the film and  Induja Ravichandran will be sharing screen space as the other leading lady. The supporting cast includes Yogi Babu, Prabhu, Selvaraghavan, Hiya Davey, Pranav, Prabhav, Frankenstein, Saravana Subbaiah and Shelly N Kumar.

Naane Varuven is gearing up to hit screens on September 29 and will have a runtime of 2 hours and 2 minutes. The film has been cleared by the Censor Board with U/A certificate.
