Nachindi Girl Friendu OTT release date: When and where to watch Uday Shankar, Jenifer’s film

Telugu OTT platform aha has been the go-to avenue for several small/medium budget films made in the recent years. The platform has promised its subscribers about releasing a new film every weekend and they’ve stood by their words in the last couple of years. This Friday, a romantic entertainer, Nachindi Girl Friendu premiered on the platform.

Nachindi Girl Friendu released in theatres on November 11, 2022 and opened to moderate responses from viewers and critics alike. Uday Shankar, Jenifer played the lead roles in the light-hearted romance helmed by Guru Pawan. The film, which is out on OTT nearly nine months after its theatrical release, was produced by Atluri Narayan Rao under Sriram Movies.

The film revolves around a youngster Rajaram, a graduate based out of Vizag, who takes up a fund management course in a bid to get rich quickly. Meanwhile, his friend Cherry, whose bike gets punctured, requests him to drop him to an office to attend an interview. He bumps into a girl Sandy and falls for her instantly. She expresses her interest in him too but an unexpected revelation turns their love life topsy turvy. Where is the tale headed?

Guru Pawan has also written the story and screenplay for the film which has music by Gifton Elias. Chidipothu Manohar cranked the camera and Sagar Udagandla edited the film. The crew of Nachindi Girl Friendu comprises Kishore-Venky, Mujeeb, Douluri Narayana, SS Vasu, Siva C Veerapaneni, to name a few. Noted music label Tips acquired the audio rights of the entertainer.

Named after the popular number from Chiranjeevi’s Abhilasha, some songs from Nachindi Girl Friendu include O Cheli Anarkhali, Cute Baby, Manasa and Erra Tholu Pilla. Will the film get its due on OTT? We’ll know soon. Meanwhile, Uday Shankar is next teaming up with Megha Akash for a romance thriller.
