Nag Ashwin is busy with the pre-production of his new film Kalki 2. As the film's shoot is getting delayed, there has been news that Nag Ashwin will do a small budget film with new actors.

We at OTTplay had revealed that director Nag Ashwin confirmed taking Kalki 2 on the floors by the end of this year and the pre-production of the film is happening at a brisk pace. On the other hand, news has been making the rounds that as there is time for Kalki 2 to go on the floors, Nag Ashwin is all set to do a film with young actors and it will be a comedy on the lines of Jathi Rathnalu, which Nag Ashwin himself produced.
Nag Ashwin slams rumors about his next
Well, when asked about the same, Nag Ashwin says that the reports coming in are fake and he is not directing or producing any small-time film as of now. "Even I don't know where these rumors are coming out from. As of now, I am only concentrating on Kalki 2 and am busy with the pre-production of the film. I have no interest in taking up any new film until I wrap up Kalki 2," said Nag Ashwin.
As Kalki 2898 AD was a smash hit at the box office, Nag Ashwin is taking a lot of time to make the second part. "There is a lot of pressure to deliver. This has made me rewrite a few portions of the film. A chunk of the second half has already been shot and the rest will go on floors by the end of this year," adds Ashwin.
Vyjayanthi Movies is the production house behind this film and they are known to support small films as well. Amidst making big films, they make films like Jathi Rathnalu and are now producing a film with Roshan Meka, son of popular hero Srikanth Meka.

Kalki 2898 AD had Kamal Haasan as the main villain and speaking about him, Nag Ashwin says that he has a meaty role and his character will be one of the standout moments of the film. On the other hand, as Prabhas is also busy with other films of his, the shoot of Kalki 2 has also been delayed, confirms Nag Ashwin.
