Naga Chaitanya is back in the game with the super success of his new film Thandel, which also had Sai Pallavi as the female lead. Thandel is Naga Chaitanya's first-ever film to gross Rs 100 crore at the box office. High on the success of Thandel, he has now signed a film with Karthik Varma Dandu, the director who made the super hit film Virupaksha featuring Sai Dharam Tej of BRO fame.

We at OTTplay were the first ones to reveal that Naga Chaitanya and Karthik Varma would team up soon, and the project has finally gone on floors after a year of pre-production. The makers released a small video today, and it shows the world that Karthik Varma has created.

Naga Chaitanya plays an excavator in this film, and his look is top-notch. A few foreign technicians have also been roped in to work on the film, which is being produced by BVSN Prasad, who has made films like Tholi Prema and Oosaravelli in the past.

Pushpa director Sukumar also co-produces the film, and the news is that he has been actively involved in the scripting process of this biggie. The makers have not yet announced the title, but we have come to know that the film has been titled Vrusha Karma. The said film is being made on a budget of close to Rs 100 crore and will have a massive canvas. Three massive sets have been laid out for the same, and the bulk of the shoot will happen in these sets.
Naga Chaitanya will be seen in a new look for this film, which has now gone on floors. The film has music by Ajaneesh Loknath, and the female lead, who will be romancing Naga Chaitanya, has been kept under wraps.
