Naga Chaitanya okays Karthik Varma Dandu's next

On the other hand, we at OTTplay have already reported that Naga Chaitanya has okayed Virupaksha-fame Karthik Varma Dandu's film a few weeks ago. Now, we have exclusively learned that the project has been locked and BVSN Prasad, who produced the superhit film Virpupaksha, will be producing this film as well.

This yet-to-be-titled will go on floors in the month of September 2024, as per one of the sources from the film. The above project is a mystic thriller with horror as the backdrop and will be made on a decent budget of Rs 45 crore.

Naga Chaitanya's next after Thandel

The said film will be high on multiple thrills and the news is that Samyuktha Menon might play the female lead. She was seen in a powerful role in Virupaksha and director Karthik Varma is planning to cast her again. The makers are also planning to release the film as a Sankranthi 2025 special, as per the latest updates.

Naga Chaitanya has been choosing some different projects these days. He has also okayed Dhootha 2, which is a web series. After the success of the first season, Chay will be seen in yet another griping role in this series on Amazon Prime Video.

Apart from the above projects, Chay is also in talks for projects with Shiva Nirvana and Rahul Sankrytan. For now, he is going all out for his new film Thandel where he plays a fisherman who gets stuck in Pakistan. Sai Pallavi plays the female lead.
