Since 2021, Samantha Ruth Prabhu and Naga Chaitanya's divorce has been a topic of discussion. The ex-couple has moved on in their respective lives, where Chay even remarried recently to Sobhita Dhulipala. While promoting his latest film, Thandel, he recently spoke about his divorce.
A lot of people have been discussing Chaitanya's divorce, and he finally brought it up on the Raw Talks With VK podcast. The actor said that they desired to pursue separate paths. They have individually come to this decision for their own reasons, and they respect each other's choices. In their separate ways, they are progressing through life. He questioned whether further clarification was necessary. Chay is hopeful that the public and press will consider the requests for privacy. He went on to say that it is a headline, though, which is a shame and it was talked about in rumours.
Chaitanya continued by saying that he has proceeded with such elegance and with such poise; she has progressed. Each of them is living their own lives. Once again, love has found him and he is overjoyed, and they hold each other in the highest regard.
The actor went on to say that Samantha is the only person he has the utmost regard for. He emphasised, "Why am I treated like a criminal?" He further emphasised that this issue is not unique to his life.
The actor further discussed the decision to end the four-year marriage. The purpose of the marriage was to benefit all parties involved. They made all decisions with great consideration and deference to each other. This is something Chaitanya feels strongly about; therefore, he is stating it. His family has always been disorganised. As a kid of divorce, the actor understands what it's like to grow up in a dysfunctional household. Knowing the consequences, he will give it a thousand thoughts before ending a relationship. They made a joint decision in this case.
Chaitanya asserts that he is not depressed by the decision, as it was not made hastily. It hurts that it occurred, but he believes there's a purpose to everything. By investing in themselves and pushing forward, they will eventually discover their true calling and his experience was similar.
