Sekhar Kammula-directed Love Story, starring Naga Chaitanya, Sai Pallavi, Rajeev Kanakala, Easwari Rao, Devayani and others in lead roles, proved to be a box office tsunami, right from the day it hit theatres on September 24. The film was promoted extensively across the Telugu states, had a superb star cast, the minimum guarantee trust that comes with a Sekhar Kammula directorial, while Pawan Ch's music had the luxury to grow on the audiences for nearly two years. Now, the super hit film is gearing up for its worldwide digital premiere on the Telugu only OTT platform aha on October 22.

It's not surprising that the team has opted for only a month-long gap between its theatrical release and OTT premiere. In fact, that has been the norm for most Telugu films that have had a release in theatres in the post-pandemic era. It's also a known fact that very few Telugu films these days manage to do good business at theatres beyond three weeks at the box office. Love Story has all the potential to be a golden goose for aha in drawing eyeballs across the globe, especially with the repeat value that Sekhar Kammula's films tend to enjoy.

Narayan Das K Narang and Puskar Ram Mohan Rao have produced the film under Sree Venkateswara Cinemas. Vijay C Kumar, who's been an integral part of Sekhar Kammula's career, has worked as a cinematographer for Love Story, while its technical crew also comprises editor Marthand K Venkatesh. Chaitanya Pingali is the co-writer of the film. Uttej, Ananda Chakrapani, Gangavva also play supporting roles in the same. Love Story, through the romance between its lead characters Revanth and Mounica, touches upon issues like child abuse, discrimination and societal barriers with respect to caste, religion and gender.
