After debuting in Bollywood through Amir Khan’s Laal Singh Chaddha, Tollywood hero Naga Chaitanya is all set to essay his maiden web series, helmed by Vikram K Kumar. The actor himself confirmed recently that he will be a part of the series, and will be playing the role of a villain, according to a report by Mirchi9.

He further shared his excitement about the script as he seems to be thrilled after hearing the story. He also thinks that it doesn’t cater to the theatrical audience and looks forward to taking up more OTT projects. "I will use OTT to play roles I can't necessarily play in theatrical films," he told the portal.

It is interesting that he appears to be challenging himself as an actor. Given the fact that he has been active in the field for a long period, he believes now is the time for him to deliver something new to his fans and viewers all around the world.

Meanwhile, Laal Singh Chaddha, which is the official remake of the Hollywood classic Forrest Gump, is expected to be Chaitanya’s breakthrough in Bollywood, as the movie already is highly anticipated. Helmed by Advait Chandan, the movie also has Kareena Kapoor playing a major role, while Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan make cameo appearances.

The upcoming Telugu language romantic tale Love Story is another major awaited film of Naga Chaitanya, in which he is paired opposite Sai Pallavi. The Sekhar Kammula directorial is gearing up for a release on September 24, 2021, after being postponed many times due to the pandemic.
