Nagarjuna, last seen in Praveen Sattaru’s The Ghost, has been hearing a lot of scripts, but is yet to make an official announcement about his future projects. He has been growing a beard for one of his upcoming films and is also set to host Bigg Boss Telugu Season 7 shortly. The actor was the chief guest at the trailer launch of former Bigg Boss Telugu contestant Sohel’s Mr Pregnant today.
During the event while wishing the cast, crew of Mr Pregnant recalled a memorable phase of his life before Amala gave birth to Akhil Akkineni. He shared, “Motherhood is a beautiful experience. I remember every minute Amala experienced it. I had last shot for Hello Brother and didn’t go for any shoots for six months to be with her.”

“I was with Amala all the while through the laughter, through the pain and was also in the delivery room holding her hand. It was one of the best experiences of my life. The birth of life is just so beautiful,” he added. Nagarjuna and Amala’s only child Akhil Akkineni was born on April 8, 1994. Akhil, first seen on the screen in Sisindri, made a mark in cinema with films like Hello, Most Eligible Bachelor, Mr Majnu.
The seasoned actor-producer, talking about Mr Pregnant’s trailer, stated, “Before attending the trailer launch, I was curious about how a man could deliver a baby in Mr Pregnant. I can’t wait to watch the film now. Sohel and Roopa were emotional in the impressive trailer. I wish the director Srinivas the very best. It’s difficult to handle such a sensitive subject. I am curious to see how he’s made it.”
Applauding Sohel for his attempt to carve a niche for himself in cinema, he mentioned, “In the fourth season of Bigg Boss Telugu, Sohel won many hearts despite not winning the title. I am aware of his will-power and determination to succeed, fight and I can sense his enthusiasm in Mr Pregnant. I hope the film, the fourth production under Mic Movies, is successful at the box office.”
