Nagarjuna's 100th film: script and director locked, deets inside

Akkineni Nagarjuna has been keeping a low profile ever since his last film The Ghost turned out to become a disaster at the box office. The way his Bigg Boss Telugu show fared this season also disappointed the star big time. But Nag is not sitting idle and has already locked his 99th film in the direction of Prasanna Kumar. The film is a period drama and will kick start its shoot in Mysore soon.
On the other hand, Akkineni Nagarjuna was always excited about his 100th film and so much was said as to who will direct it. Names of so many directors came out but Tamil director Mohan Raja has got the lucky chance. Nag's son, Akhil will also be playing a key role in this film as per the news.
Now, we have come to know from our sources that Nagarjuna has locked the script. He has approved the narration given by Mohan Raja and has asked to go ahead with the pre-production. The film will be made on a massive scale and Akkineni Nagarjuna himself will produce it on his home banner, Annapurna Studios.
For now, Nag is ready for his 99th film on the floors. As per the news, the film is the remake of the Malayalam hit Porinju Mariam Jose. Nag will be seen in a different role in this film for which casting is being done as of now. Watch this space for more details on the 100th project of Nagarjuna.
