Malayalam web series, Nagendran's Honeymoons, have begun streaming on the digital space. The comedy drama is now available on Disney+ Hotstar in Malayalam, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Marathi, Bengali, and Hindi. Nagendran’s Honeymoons is an original Malayalam release on OTT after a while.
In this project, which is being directed by Nithin Renji Panicker of Kasaba fame, Suraj Venjaramoodu is the main actor. In significant roles in Nagendran's Honeymoon are Grace Antony, Kani Kusruthi, Shwetha Menon, Alphy Panjikaran, and Niranjana Anoop.
Nagendran’s Honeymoons on Disney+ Hotstar
Recently, Disney+ Hotstar has been supporting an extensive amount of original content, particularly from Malayalam. The announcement last year that the streaming platform would be releasing this Suraj Venjaramoodu-starrer heightened people's expectations. Nagendran’s Honeymoons, a dark humour web series
The story takes place in five different terrains during the 1970s, according to director Nithin, who made this revelation in an interview with OTTplay. "Nagendran's Honeymoons is appropriate for the dark humour genre because they have a significant dose of situational humour," he said.
A young, jobless man named Nagendran marries five different women under different aliases in the web series trailer. He has not revealed the reason behind this. Prasanth Alexander plays the matchmaker in the movie who pushes Nagendran to take on multiple wives. Grace Antony seems to be playing a quirky Christian woman who Nagendran marries for the second time, with Kalabhavan Shajohn playing her brother. Nagendran's Honeymoons has the following supporting cast: Janardanan, Prasanth Alexander, Ammu Abhirami, Kalabhavan Shajohn, and Ramesh Pisharody. Ranjin Raj is the composer of the original web series soundtracks and background scores.
