SIRI takes over next, focusing on Kannada cinema and culture – from its various dialects and food to its legendary stars and Kannadigas such as Deepika Padukone, Shilpa Shetty and Ricky Kej. Arivu returns to plug Telugu cinema, before Hanumankind chimes in with catchy English lyrics about South cinema and its people.

The final segment is by actor and rapper NJ aka Neeraj Madhav, who raps about Malayalam cinema has taken over the country. Some of the popular references in his portions include Kerala’s famed literacy rate, Shashi Tharoor’s English, Resul Pookkutty’s Oscar win and of course, Mohanlal and Mammootty.

The track ends with glimpses from the South catalogue of Netflix including Vijay’s Mersal, Nagarjuna’s Wild Dog, Mohanlal’s Grandmaster, Mammootty’s One, Rajinikanth’s Petta, Dhanush’s Jagame Thandhiram, Prabhas’ Baahubali and Shraddha Srinath’s U-Turn.

The audience also get a few blink-and-miss moments of Suriya and Vijay Sethupathi from Mani Ratnam’s upcoming anthology Navarasa, which is scheduled to stream on the OTT platform this August.
