Telugu star Nani attended a press conference to unveil the teaser of his upcoming movie Hi Nanna. Directed by Shouryuv, the movie stars Mrunal Thakur as the female lead.
Along with the teaser, the filmmakers also announced the movie's new release date. The movie will arrive in cinemas two weeks earlier than the previously announced date. Reason: Salaar.
Salaar missed the release date
Starring Telugu superstar Prabhas in the lead role, Salaar was supposed to hit the screens on September 28. The releases of many new big-budget, star-studded movies were held back to avoid a box office clash with Salaar, which is written and directed by Prashanth Neel.
However, the producers postponed the release date, citing post-production reasons. And recently, they announced that Salaar will open in cinemas worldwide on December 22.

His response to the question about advancing the release date of Hi Nanna due to Salaar is winning hearts on the internet.
"Initially, we had plans to release the movie on December 21 or 22. It's akin to a family scenario where, if an older brother schedules an event on the same date, the younger one adjusts their plans. That's all. No problem with that," said Nani.
Nani's response earned him appreciation for his graceful handling of the situation. "So throughout December, you can enjoy good movies with good love stories and action movies. What more we (movie buffs) could ask for?" he added.
Judging from the teaser, Hi Nanna seems like an out-and-out feel-good drama. The movie revolves around a charming relationship between a father and daughter.
Hi Nanna will now be released in cinemas worldwide in multiple languages on December 7.
