Nani is all praise of Mrunal Thakur

At every press meet, Nani has been generous with his praise for Mrunal's acting prowess. During a recent interview as well, he spoke highly of his co-star and had nothing but admiration for her.

Nani described his experience working with Mrunal as not just enjoyable but also creatively fulfilling. He highlighted the fact that they had a fantastic time shooting for the film and that Mrunal is a very "chill" person to work with. However, what stood out for him was Mrunal's on-screen presence.

According to Nani, when they filmed scenes together, everything felt fine. But when he reviewed the scenes on the monitor afterward, he was always pleasantly surprised. He added that Mrunal has the ‘X factor’, which is organic on camera. Nani emphasised that any actor who has this quality is blessed.

Narrating some instances from the shoot, Nani said that on numerous occasions when a retake was requested, he found himself wanting to rewatch the clip because he believed that the shot couldn't possibly be improved on.

Nani's generous words had Mrunal smiling, and she expressed gratitude to him.

The plot and crew of Hi Nanna

Nani plays a father in the film who falls in love with Mrunal's character. While their love blooms out of friendship, there is an element of betrayal, and what happens next forms the crux of the story.

The film also stars Shruti Haasan, who plays a pivotal role. This pan-Indian project has a talented crew, which includes cinematographer Sanu John Varughese, editor Praveen Anthony, and production designer Avinash Kolla.

Slated to be released on December 21, Hi Nanna is produced by Mohan Cherukuri and Dr Vijender Reddy Teegala under the Vyra Entertainments banner.
