Nani, who had a critically acclaimed film in the form of Ante Sundaraniki this year, has an interesting lineup of projects ahead. While the shoot of his next release, Dasara, an action entertainer, is nearing completion, he has also confirmed about headlining Hit 3, the third instalment of the thriller franchise (through a brief cameo in Adivi Sesh’s Hit 2). He’s cast as a cop named Arjun Sarkaar in the project. Now, the Shyam Singha Roy star has announced another film.

Nani's next film is, in fact, the 30th project in his career and will be bankrolled by Vyra Entertainments. Mohan Cherukuri (CVM), who was earlier associated with the leading banner Mythri Movie Makers, has joined hands with his friends Dr Vijender Reddy Teegala and Murthy K S for the untitled film. The banner hopes to make its presence felt in the market for their content-driven films and unique plots.

While the trio of producers have collaborated in several arenas in the past, they shared a common passion for films since childhood. Vyra Entertainments has finalised a series of projects for the banner but #Nani30 will be their first to go on floors. More details about the film, including the director, technicians, will be out on January 1 at 4.05 pm. In a black and white poster released today, Nani is seated on a chair while he scrolling through his phone.

Nani, in addition to acting, has produced two projects this year, including Hit 2 and the web series Meet Cute for SonyLIV. Meet Cute also marked the directorial debut of his sister Deepthi Ghanta. The show opened to good reviews and featured a bevvy of stars like Aakanksha Singh, Varsha Bollamma, Rohini Molleti, Shiva Kandukuri and Adah Sharma, to name a few.
