Nani30: Nani to team up with Mrunal Thakur for his next; first glimpse launched

Nani has always been enthusiastic to associate with debutants, emerging directors in his career and some of his biggest hits have come with them. While he's working with a newcomer Srikanth Odela for his next, Dasara, an action entertainer alongside Keerthy Suresh, he will be joining hands with another first-time filmmaker, Shouryuv for a project. The latter will direct Nani's 30th film, tentatively titled #Nani30. An official update about the project was out today.

Mrunal Thakur, who made a stellar debut in Telugu cinema with Sita Ramm, is paired opposite Nani in #Nani30. Cherukuri Venkata Mohan (formerly associated with Mythri Movie Makers), Dr Vijender Reddy and Murthy Kalagara are jointly producing the film under Vyra Entertainments. The makers shared the first glimpse of the film where a child actor is in conversation with Nani and the duo smartly uses their chat to share the details about #Nani30.

Initially, the child actor asks Nani to do away with his beard and moustache and appear in a clean-shaved avatar for #Nani30. Nani nods his head and tells the look is only for his film Dasara. When the conversation extends to shaving his head too, the girl interrupts him. Nani later asks his on-screen daughter about the preferences she has for the cast and crew, after which we're introduced to the team behind the film. 

By the end of the glimpse, Nani is ecstatic that people are celebrating the film's launch all across the city but the girl reminds him that today is the New Year day. Going by the glimpse, #Nani30 looks like an emotional father-daughter drama. Sanu John Varughese, who worked on Nani's Jersey and Shyam Singha Roy, is the cinematographer. Hesham Abdul Wahab, the Hridayam composer, who's also working on Vijay Deverakonda-Samantha starrer Kushi, has come on board as the music director.
