Nani's The Paradise postponed: Makers struggle to meet original release plan, here's why?

Nani is at an all-time high with back-to-back hits in his career. He is now shooting for his highest-budgeted film, The Paradise, which is being directed by Srikanth Odela of Dasara fame. The action drama has been in the making for quite some time and is all set to hit the screens on March 27, 2026.

Though the makers earlier stated that there would be no postponements, news has now emerged that a significant portion of the shoot is still pending and that it may take at least two more months to wrap up filming.

A source close to the unit says, “A new schedule kick-started today in Hyderabad, and the film’s female lead, Kayadu Kohar, has joined the sets. There are nearly 50 more days of shooting left, and there is no way the film can be released on March 27, 2026. A lot of money is being spent on this film, which requires massive VFX work. The shoot itself will take time, followed by extensive VFX, and all this will definitely lead to a postponement.”

Though an official confirmation is yet to be made, this news has gone viral in film circles. The Paradise is being made on a budget of Rs 150 crore and is Nani’s biggest film to date.

Netflix has grabbed the digital rights for a record price, helping the makers recover a significant portion of the budget already. This has reduced the pressure on the makers as Nani's films always get record OTT deals.
