Nanna Ninna Preeti Saakara from GST: Full video of Srujan Lokesh and Rajani Bharadwaj’s romantic number out now

In the days leading up to the release of his directorial debut GST, Srujan Lokesh had revealed 2 songs and a trailer. The earlier two songs – the special number Chameli Chal and Taayi Devare – were put out as lyrical videos though, with only sneak peeks from the actual footage. But now, only a day after the film hit theatres, the team has already revealed a full video song. Nanna Ninna Preeti Saakara, a romantic number featuring Srujan and Rajani Bharadwaj came out today.

Srujan Lokesh turns lyricist for love track

While the visuals capture the bond between the film’s lead paid, what’s also interesting is that the Chandan Shetty composition has been written by Srujan. The song has been sung by Anirudh Sastry and Sneha Hegde and comes at a point in the film, when the protagonist, Lucky (Srujan) is looking for a reason to live and finds it in Nidhi (Rajani), who he’d liked all along but had not found the courage to approach.

The film, meanwhile, is more comedy than horror and revolves around Lucky’s attempts to help bring salvation to five ghosts with unfinished business on earth. Money is what will solve all their problems, for which they decide to rob a bank. Whether or not they succeed in both their missions is what the film is about.

GST has a big ensemble cast on board, including Girija Lokesh, Tabla Nani, Niveditha Gowda, Sunder Veena, Hanumantha Gowda, Veena Sunder, Yamuna Srinidhi, Aravind Rau, Mahantesh Hiremath, Shobharaj, Vinaya Prasad, Sharath Lohithashwa, Giri Shivanna, among many others. The film has been co-directed by Tejasvi Nag, who'd made Srujan's earlier film, Ellide Illi Tanaka.
