Ramya Pandian, who was recently seen opposite Malayalam Superstar Mammootty in the critically acclaimed Nanpakal Nerathu Mayakkam, bumped into legendary actor and director Bharathiraja on her flight. The actress dropped a picture with the ace filmmaker about her fangirl moment and captioned it, "Had the privilege of travelling with one of the finest makers of Indian cinema, Bharathiraja sir. To a kid who had many questions, the mentor who had all the answers - truly a legend. Thank you for the invaluable information and kind blessings, sir!" In yet another picture, the actress is seen keenly listening to the ace filmmaker in the flight bus.

The former Bigg Boss Tamil contestant recently marked her debut in Malayalam with director Lijo Jose Pellisherry's Nanpakal Nerathu Mayakkam. She played Poovally, a woman in a remote village in Tamil Nadu, whose husband has gone missing. The film's plot revolves around a bunch of travellers from Kerala visiting Velankanni in Tamil Nadu. During their return journey, one of the passengers James (Mammootty) takes on a different identity altogether and behaves like Sundaram, a happy-go-lucky man from Tamil Nadu (husband of Ramya Pandian's character). The film's popularity soared after its recent OTT release on Netflix. The film was jointly produced by Mammootty and Lijo Jose Pellisherry.

Ramya Pandian is now working on her next with director Ganesh Vinayakan's project which stars another Bigg Boss Tamil contestant Arav. The film is set in 1996 and is said to revolve around a conflict between those who live in the hills and plains. The actress was earlier part of films like Raame Aandalum Raavanan Aandalum, Aan Devathai, Joker and Dummy Tappasu. She also appeared in the web series Mugilan and Accidental Farmer and Co and on the television show Cooku With Komali. Bharathiraja, on the other hand, was last seen in Mithran Jawahar's super hit Thiruchitrambalam, in which he played Dhanush's grandfather.
