Anand Ravi, who impressed everyone with his film Napoleon a few years ago, is back after a long gap with yet another suspense thriller titled Napoleon Returns. He himself acts and directs this film, which was launched today in Hyderabad.
The first look teaser showcases Anand Ravi arriving at a police station and filing a complaint, stating that the soul of a buffalo came into his dream and asked him to report the case of a missing nine-month-old baby’s soul. This concept looks quite weird, but that is the premise of Napoleon Returns.

The way Anand Ravi and two of his office friends approach the police station and file the complaint about the baby’s soul is quite interesting. Even in the past, Napoleon had a unique storyline, where the hero came to a police station and filed a complaint claiming he had lost his shadow, which itself sounded unusual.
Once again, in Napoleon Returns, he presents a concept where a nine-month-old baby’s soul is missing. Why it is missing and how the buffalo is connected will be revealed only when the film releases. Popular actress DV plays the female lead, and Raghu Babu appears in a key role.
Speaking about the film, Anand Ravi stated that although he has directed films like Parent Prathinidhi, Napoleon, and Koramenu in the past, he is yet to achieve a major success. “I have been looking for one big hit, and I feel Napoleon Returns will be that film that brings me back into the game. The concept of a nine-month-old baby’s soul is quite unique, and I am confident no one has explored such a conflict before in Telugu cinema,” he said.
