After quite a few snags related to its release, Naradan finally hit theatres this month. For people who were unable to watch Tovino Thomas weave his magic on the big screen, fret not. Naradan will soon make its way onto OTT.

What is Naradan about?

Naradan revolves around the story of a skilled journalist and news anchor, Chandraprakash. Although he has established a huge audience for himself as a journalist of News Malayalam, he faces pressure from his bosses to ramp up his content so that it earns him more ratings. Eventually, in pursuit of ratings, he is forced to re-evaluate his morals and principles.

Who are the cast and crew behind Naradan?

Tovino stars as Chandraprakash while Anna Ben essays the role of a lawyer named Shaakira Mohammed. Sharafudheen portrays the role of Chandraprakash’s rival, a journalist named Pradeep John. The film also features Joy Mathew, Vijayaraghavan, Balachandran Chullikkad, Raghunath Paleri, Jayaraj Warrier, Rafi, Kunchan, Dileesh Nair, Renji Panicker, Rajesh Madhavan, and Indrans in pivotal roles.

Aashiq Abu has directed the thriller, which marks his latest collaboration with Tovino, after hits such as Mayanadi (2017) and Virus (2019). Abu has also bankrolled the film along with Santhosh T. Kuruvila and Rima Kallingal. Unni R has penned the film’s script.

When and where to watch Naradan?

The film was released in theatres on March 3, 2022, after being postponed several times due to difficulties brought about by the COVID-19 pandemic. On OTT, the film will be released on Amazon Prime Video on April 8.
