After the electrifying success of Minnal Murali, Tovino Thomas is counting down the days to the release of his next project, which is titled Naradhan. The star recently unveiled a new character poster from his upcoming film, which gives viewers a glimpse into Anna Ben’s character.

The poster was released by Thomas on his official Instagram handle. Just like the ones before it, the latest poster is covered in blue and red hues, with grainy television screens dotting the background. She is seen giving an unyielding stare into the camera, and her character from the film is revealed to be called Shakira Muhammed.

The trailer for the upcoming film reveals a story that revolves around a charismatic and ambitious TV news anchor, who is willing to go to the most extreme lengths to make sure his channel stays on top, blurring the lines between what is wrong and right in the process. The film is directed by Aashiq Abu, who has previously collaborated with Thomas in films such as Mayanadi (2017) and Virus (2019).

In addition to Thomas and Ben, the upcoming film also features Sharafudheen, Joy Mathew, Vijayaraghavan, Balachandran Chullikkad, Raghunath Paleri, Jayaraj Warrier, Rafi, Kunchan, Dileesh Nair, Rajesh Madhavan, and Indrans, among others. The film is bankrolled by Abu, along with Santhosh T. Kuruvila and Rima Kallingal. The film’s script was written by Unni R, who is known for his work on movies such as Leela, Charlie, and Prathi Poovankozhi.

Naradhan is scheduled to be released on January 27.

Meanwhile, Thomas was last seen in Netflix’s superhero film Minnal Murali. He currently has Thallumala and Anweshippin Kandethum in the pipeline.
