Narayana & Co teaser: Sudhakar Komakula’s madcap comedy promises a bang for your buck

After making a mark with impressive roles in Life is Beautiful, Nuvvu Thopu Raa, Krack and Raja Vikramarka, Sudhakar Komakula is returning with a crime comedy titled Narayana & Co. That’s not all, he’s also co-producing the film in collaboration with Papisetty Brothers under Papisetty Film Productions and Sukha Media. Chinna Papisetty is directing the film.

Aamani, Devi Prasad, Jai Krishna, Pooja Kiran and Arati Podi essay important roles in the crime caper, whose first look was launched last week. The film’s teaser was unveiled Sudhakar’s Life is Beautiful filmmaker Sekhar Kammula today. The story revolves around how a middle class family is entangled in a crime related to a goon. The film promises to be a delicious mix of crime, romance and humour.

The teaser starts with a middle-class elderly man Narayana receiving the shock of his life, when his wife offers him a millet prasadam (claiming God needs to eat healthy too) . While their elder son (played by Sudhakar) indulges in betting, the younger son is an aspirant photographer. They have a free-spirited neighbour, who smokes, drinks at will and doesn’t care much about her parents’ inhibitions.

A local goon, in a bid to turn a politician, is looking for three scapegoats and connect them to a crime. How does this family respond to the situation? The exaggerated situations offer good entertainment. The teaser ends with Sudhakar’s hilarious monologue around ‘thappu’, to which his father and brother have a funny response.

Yamini Bandaru, Saptagiri, Ali Reza, Shiva Ramachandrapu, Thotapalli Madhu, Ragini, Ananth essay other important roles. Suresh Bobbili, Josyabhatla and Naga Vamsi compose the songs while Kamran works on the background score. Rahul Shrivatsav is the cinematographer, assisted by Siddam Manohar. Raviteja G has penned the story, which has dialogues by Rajiv K. Srujana Adusumilli is the editor and Ravi Dondapati is the art director respectively.
