Narivetta box office collection: Tovino Thomas' latest Malayalam film has minted over Rs 15 crore as worldwide gross collection, that too in three days, its makers have claimed.

After the action-packed Identity, Tovino Thomas was back with the realistic thriller Narivetta. The latest Malayalam movie has opened to positive reviews and is winning much appreciation for tackling a sensitive subject. Narivetta has already made Rs 15 crore in its first three days at the worldwide box office, as per the makers. Let’s take a look at the box office figures of Tovino Thomas' Narivetta.
Tovino Thomas’ latest film Narivetta released in theatres on May 23, 2025, and made Rs 1.65 crore, as per reports on Sacnilk. The film, directed by Anuraj Manohar, has been performing consistently well at the ticket window. Now, the Narivetta makers have said that the film has minted over Rs 15 crore as worldwide gross collection, that too in three days. But as per Sacnilk, the India net Malayalam collection of Narivetta stands at Rs 7.38 crore.
Tovino Thomas plays police constable Varghese in Narivetta, which also features Suraj Venjaramoodu and Cheran in key roles. Varghese and his police team are sent to Wayanad, where tribal people occupy a part of the forest as they protest the delay over land allotment to them. The hard-hitting film follows the horrific events that unfold as the police and the tribals clash. The gripping plot and the terrific performances have fetched positive reviews for the film.

Tovino Thomas’ film Narivetta released along with Dhyan Sreenivasan’s Detective Ujjwalan in theatres last Friday. Detective Ujjwalan had opened to mixed to positive reviews but is lagging behind the Tovino Thomas-starrer at the box office. The Dhyan Sreenivasan-starrer has made only Rs 2.62 crore in the Malayalam net box office collection in four days, as per Sacnilk. Indraneel Gopeekrishnan and Rahul G directed this film, which is backed by Weekend Blockbusters.
With no major Malayalam film set to release this week, Narivetta has a good chance of further improving its numbers.
