The film, which is directed by Anuraj Manohar, was earlier slated to release on May 16. It will now run in theatres with Dhyan Sreenivasan's Detective Ujjwalan, Ranjith Sajeev's United Kingdom of Kerala and Sreenath Bhasi's Azadi. Meanwhile, the reason behind postponement has not been revealed by the makers. The film is expected to showcase a nuanced yet powerful performance from Tovino. It is the Mayaanadhi star's most anticipated projects of 2025. Anuraj marked his directorial debut with Ishq, starring Shane Nigam and Ann Sheetal.

Cheran, a Tamil actor and filmmaker, makes his Malayalam cinema debut in this Tovino Thomas film. He will appear as a police officer named R Keshavadas.
