The G.O.A.T Japanese anime series Naruto’s sequel Naruto: Shippuden has started streaming on Netflix in India. The show is available since August 8. However, there is a major catch in the release.

Not all episodes of Naruto: Shippuden have released on Netflix in India. The show has 21 seasons and 21 episodes in the 21st season.

However, Naruto: Shippuden, which has released on Netflix in India, only has four seasons. Thus, the users have access to only 88 episodes so far.

According to the season available on Netflix, the show ends with Shikamaru’s revenge. In reality though, Naruto: Shippuden ends at Naruto’s wedding with Hinata. Yes, he grew out of love with Sakura (who is now with Sasuke) and finally heard what is in Hinata’s heart since childhood.

Of course, anime fans are already aware of this, since Naruto and Hinata have a baby boy named Boruto, who has a show dedicated to him, running successfully in Japan currently. Titled Boruto: Next Generations, this new show is about the next generation (much like the title suggests). Hence, you get to see Naruto-Hinata, Sasuke-Sakura, Ino, Choji, Rock Lee, Gaara and Shikamaru’s kids trying to turn ninjas and go on missions.

In Boruto: Next Generations, Naruto is the hokage – which he dreamt of since he was an orphaned kid. Sasuke is out for redemption and helps Naruto in all the secret missions of Konoha. Shikamaru is officially the right hand of Naruto, while other characters like Kakashi Hatake, Kiba, Orochimaru, Shino Aburame, Temari, Killer B and Might Guy keep giving special appearances.

Boruto: Next Generations sees Boruto, Sasuke-Sakura’s daughter Sarada and Orochimaru’s adoptive son Mitsuki take the lead. Ino-Sai’s son Inojin, Choji’s daughter ChoCho, Gaara's adoptive son Shinki and Rock Lee’s adoptive son Metal Lee are among the other notable characters. Apart from Boruto, Naruto and Hinata are blessed with a daughter named Himawari, who is, no guesses, already powerful at such a young age.

While Naruto: Shippuden has finally come to Netflix in India and not all episodes have released, the wait for Boruto: Next Generations (not completely accepted by fans outside of Japan) is sure to be longer since the show is still on air. One can only wonder where would this show end and what the next one would be titled.
