Naslen-led Alappuzha Gymkhana team gets a thumbs up from Sivakarthikeyan, video goes viral

One of the most-awaited Malayalam films, Alappuzha Gymkhana, stars Naslen of Premalu fame in the lead role. The upcoming film, directed by Khalid Rahman, is set to hit theatres on April 10, 2025, as a Vishu release. Ahead of the film’s big release, the Alappuzha Gymkhana team met Tamil star Sivakarthikeyan, much to the delight of fans from both industries. Alappuzha Gymkhana team visits Sivakarthikeyan

With just a few days left for the release of Alappuzha Gymkhana, Naslen, Lukman Avaran, and the rest of the team interacted with Sivakarthikeyan. The videos of the Alappuzha Gymkhana team interacting with Sivakarthikeyan have gone viral on social media, with fans enthusiastically sharing the short glimpse

In the video shared on social media, the Amaran actor is seen watching the trailer and other glimpses of Alappuzha Gymkhana, even as the young Malayalam stars stand behind him with bated breath. Sivakarthikeyan then turns around and gives his ‘nod of approval’ to Naslen, who smiles back in appreciation. 

 Alappuzha Gymkhana cast and plot

Apart from Naslen, Alappuzha Gymkhana also features Lukman Avaran and Ganapathi S. Poduval. Lukman Avaran has previously impressed with movies such as Operation Java, while Ganapathi has acted and co-written Jan-e-Man which starred Basil Joseph in the lead. The film also features other actors such as Sandeep Pradeep, Anagha Ravi, Franco Francis, Baby Jean and Shiva Hariharan. 

The upcoming Malayalam film, written and directed by Khalid Rahman, follows a bunch of teenagers who fail in the plus-two exam. In order to secure college admission through sports quota, the lads decide to try their hand in the boxing competition. The film follows the hilarious misadventures of these teenagers.  

There is much expectation on Alappuzha Gymkhana as it brings together the young talent of Naslen and Khalid Rahman, who has helmed movies such as Unda and Thallumaala. 

Before Premalu, Naslen had also featured in Anaswara Rajan-starrer Super Sharanya, which was directed by Girish AD.
